Diego was born in Argentina and also grew up in Brazil. His passion for art and film led him to study animation at the Emily Carr University in Vancouver, Canada. His graduation film ‘The Art of Drowning’ was screened at several festivals like Sundance, Ottawa International Animation Festival and Annecy among others. He enjoys working in various techniques like hand-drawn, 3D, rotoscope and combining them.
He cycles to his studio in Vancouver every morning, rain or shine..
